ILLEGALLY PARKED CARS ARE HAZARDOUS

One of the problems that irk most shoppers in the Village is the numbers of cars parked on double yellow lines. Your councillors get dozens of complaints every year from annoyed local residents.

We have just finished delivering our latest Rose newsletter and once again have had reminders of drivers flaunting the parking restrictions. Inspector Don Blackburn has been made aware of these complaints and will no doubt be keeping the local Community Safety Officer responsible for traffic up to speed.

PLEASE DON'T BE ONE OF THE MOTORISTS WHO RECEIVE PARKING FIXED PENALTIES

The traffic warden has issued about 200 fixed penalties this year alone around the Village and once the refurbishments are complete we all want a clean, shopper friendly atmosphere around Village Centre.
