HUGE DISRUPTION TO GREEN WASTE COLLECTIONS
We have had numerous complaints regarding collection failures of green waste, some have had no service for 6 weeks. The contact centre has also had 100's of enquiries from concerned residents. We have made enquiries and the dispute by the collection staff, the "bin men" is complicated in that they are trying to ensure the protection of their earnings. Whilst we cannot condone actions that cause residents annoyance, we do want to maintain the service they provide which many residents have praised in the past.

Ours is suppossed to be collected every monday. Last week they didnt come untill Wednesday at about 2pm, and about 3 or so weeks ago they also came several days after. Last week the bin lorry even drove round the estate, passing every bin there.
